　　The ancestors of the Sycuan Band of the Kumeyaay Nation existed many centuries ago as a community of people…a Tribe living together, farming, hunting and fishing to survive.

　　Much has changed since that time. Today the Sycuan Tribe governs its Reservation, owns and operates a Casino and a Golf Resort, and owns a number of other business ventures in the San Diego Region.

　　Job Purpose: Performs landscaping services for assigned area

　　Job Duties and Responsibilities:

　　(Note: Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at the sole discretion of Sycuan Management at any time)

　　Maintains appearance of flower gardens, trees and lawns by planting flowers, shrubs, and trees, watering and pruning plants and trees, and applying fertilizer as needed. - 70%

　　Keeps sprinkler systems operational by routinely inspecting systems, repairing or replacing broken or missing parts, and reporting issues requiring further attention. - 20%

　　Maintains safe work area by observing established safety standards while using tools, performing equipment repairs, and cleaning work areas. - 5%

　　Assists with maintenance of reservation facilities by performing other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager. - 5%

　　Ability to understand and follow written directions and verbal directives

　　Ability to use trade tools

　　Ability to stand and walk for up to eight hours at a time

　　Ability to crouch, bend and stoop

　　Ability to grasp and lift up to 50 lbs

　　Ability to appear for work on time

　　Ability to accept constructive criticism

　　Ability to maintain professionalism and composure
