Our work depends on a TS/SCI cleared Senior Systems Engineer joining our team to support our intelligence customer in Springfield, VA.

　　HOW A SENIOR SYSTEMS ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

　　The Senior Systems Engineer designs and defines system architecture for new or existing computer systems. This includes the coordination of system development to include design, modeling, security, integration, and formal testing.

　　•Contributes to completion of specific engineering programs and projects

　　•Develops solutions to a variety of complex engineering problems

　　•Perform complex systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the end

　　•Oversees complex infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools

　　•Performs complex systems modeling, simulation, and analysis

　　•Prepares and maintains documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects

　　•Maintains current knowledge of rapidly changing technology

　　•May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals

　　•May serve as a team or task lead

　　WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

　　EDUCATION: BA/BS or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience

　　QUALIFICATIONS

　　•5+ years of related systems engineering experience

　　•Active TS/SCI clearance required and eligibility to obtain a CI poly

　　REQUIRED SKILLS

　　•Linux system administrator

　　•Scripting / Coding (Bash, Python, etc)

　　•Kubernetes

　　•Ansible

　　•Helm charts

　　•Automation

　　DESIRED SKILLS

　　A deep expertise in one of the following areas and working knowledge of one or more of the other following:

　　•Operational support

　　•Virtualization technologies (VMware, virtual networking, vROPS, XenServer/XCP-ng)

　　•Red Hat Enterprise Linux, YUM, Satellite, Capsule technologies

　　•Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

　　•Ceph storage platform

　　•GitLab
