　　Dates of Need 2/15/2024 - 11/15/2024.

　　Landscape Nursery Worker: Hauls and spreads topsoil, fertilizer, peatmoss, and other

　　materials to condition soil, using wheelbarrow or cart and shovel; digs,rakes, and screens soil

　　and fills cold frames and hot beds to prepare them for planting; sowsgrass seed and installs

　　sod; plants, sprays, weeds, and waters plants, shrubs, and trees, usinghand tools and

　　gardening tools; operates tractors and other machinery and equipment tofertilize, cultivate,

　　harvest, and spray fields and plants; installs and repairs dripirrigation lines; moves

　　containerized shrubs, plants, and trees by hand or using wheelbarrow;traps and destroys

　　pests, such as moles, gophers, and mice; ties, bunches, wraps roots, andpacks flowers,

　　plants, shrubs, and trees; unloads and loads B&B and potted trees andshrubs from semitrailers; cleans work areas and vehicles, and maintainsgrounds and landscaping. Must be able

　　to lift and carry items weighing up to 100 pounds. Most duties areperformed out- of-doors and

　　entail exposure to extreme heat, cold, dust, rain, wind and snow. Mustbe able to bend and

　　stoop frequently, with extensive walking. Must have a minimum of 3months of experience.
