BrightView Landscapes, LLC (Puyallup, WA) has 50 F/T Temp. Landscape Laborers (04/01/2024-11/04/2024). 35 hours/wk., 8am-3:30pm (Mon-Fri) Saturday work required, when necessary. Hours may vary and overtime required based on weather and project need. $23.52/hour (O/T $35.28) paid weekly on Friday. A single work week will be used to compute wages due. Raises and/or bonuses may be offered to any worker in the specified occupation at the company's sole discretion based on individual factors, including work performance, skill, or tenure. Only deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made. H-2B application to be concurrently filed with USDOL. Mow, cut, water, and edge lawns; rake and blow leaves; dig holes for bushes and planting; pull/chop weeds; prune/haul topsoil and mulch. Entry level. Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary (mulch, fertilizer, etc.) and bend, stoop, and twist continuously throughout the day. No Education req'd. No Experience req'd. All tools/supplies req'd, provided at no cost. On-the-job training will not be provided. Drug testing is required after hire but before the commencement of employment at the employer's expense for all workers, both domestic and H-2B workers. The Employer will assist workers with securing housing upon request, but the employer will not provide housing. If the worker completes 50% of the employment contract period, employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $15.46 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first work week for all visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).
