POSITION PURPOSE

A Laborer must be able to support the Mason Journeyman with brick, block and/or stone completing custom work on distinctive projects. A Laborer is required to complete work safely, with quality and within productivity specifications as directed by the foreman or superintendent.

ESENTIAL DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITES

Prepares surfaces for laying brick, block, or stone.

Prepares and mixes mortar to appropriate amount to be spread over brick, block, or stone.

Clean, organize and maintain all tools and equipment on the job sites.

Stocks materials for masons.

Participates in daily huddles and practices safety as a priority on all job sites.

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
