O P E N P O SIT I O N – Laborer/Driver

Howden North America has recently completed the acquisition of Compressor Products International (CPI) in Canada and now named, CPI by Howden.

　　Fixed term contract of 4 -5 months Location: Edmonton

　　To support completion of consolidation efforts / driver.

　　Duties & Responsibilities:

　　Assisting Machinists with laborer duties

　　Organization of work benches, tools, tooling, to support finalization of consolidation of MH facility to Edm (shop support)

　　Support to Parts team to organize parts relocated from MH shop

　　Pick-up/delivery of Parts using company vehicles (city and field locations)

　　Other duties as assigned

　　Ability to work independently

　　Ability to coordinate required and complete in safe manner

　　Team player with positive attitude and good interpersonal skills

　　Ability to initiate and complete projects within a specific timeframe

　　Must be able to make minor decisions

　　Must be able to follow routine procedures.

　　Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) oriented

　　Willing to work flexible hours and overtime as required

　　Qualifications

　　Driver license, Maintain clean drivers abstract, drive vehicles in safe manner in accordance with provincial and local requirements (use of radio , drive to road conditions)

　　Prior experience in shop/industrial environment with machining/millwright experience preferred

　　Physically fit for heavy lifting of > 30 lbs (10+ kg)

　　High school diploma

　　Working Conditions: works in a shop and field environment, some overtime may be required during peak periods
