Description:

　　Client is looking to add an entry-level Civil Engineer to Land Development team. Will be involved with all aspects of the projects, from design through the municipal approval process. Will work with the PM and design team, and will provide technical expertise and support. Will be responsible for putting site plans together, and creating the plan sets, and will use Civil 3D and AutoCAD daily. Could work on municipal and/or land development projects. Majority of current workload will be on private land development projects.

　　FULL DUTIES:

　　• Under close supervision performs a variety of civil, environmental, transportation engineering, site planning, surveying and landscape architecture tasks.

　　• Working with computer and engineering software, familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

　　• Designs portions of a project under supervision.

　　• Assists in field surveying and construction observation.

　　• Researches literature catalogs.

　　• Prepares quantity estimates.

　　• Prepares draft reports required for project permits.

　　• Attends meetings with project engineer.

　　• Other duties as assigned.

　　Projects are very diverse. They include residential, commercial, institutional, multi-family, telecom, municipalities

　　Local travel to job sites when needed. Preference is the individuals will be in the office every day, but if someone has the skills needed and is over an hour away from the office, they would be flexible on the person working remote 3-4 times per week as long as they are willing to come to office 1-2 days/week.

　　MUST HAVES:

　　Bachelors in Civil Engineering

　　Civil 3D Design Experience (classroom or co-op experience will suffice)

　　Class project and/or co-op experience in Civil design needed

　　BONUS:

　　Skilled with grading, utilities design, roadway designs, etc

　　EIT

　　2 plus years of experience

　　Municipality project experience

　　Land Development project experience
