Description

　　Under the general supervision of the Phlebotomy Supervisor and the Administrative Director of Laboratory Services, the Lab Assistant II performs a wide variety of duties in the lab including, but not limited to, specimen collection, specimen processing, data entry, new employee orientation and training, special projects, and general duties.

　　Required qualifications:

　　H.S. Diploma or GED

　　California Certified Phlebotomy Technician I License upon hire or

　　California Certified Phlebotomy Technician II License upon hire.

　　Three (3) years as a Clinical Laboratory Assistant required. The employee must have demonstrated over time excellence as a Clinical Lab Assistant.
