　　Eurofins Environment Testingis searching for a Laboratory Analysts inUniversity Park, IL.

　　The Analyst I prepares and analyzes environmental samples using standardanalytical techniques according to scientific and EPA methodology incompliance with Eurofins Quality Assurance programs and SOP\'s.

　　Analyst I responsibilities include, but are not limited to, thefollowing

　　Demonstrates and promotes the company visionRegular attendance and punctualityApplies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriatePerforms routine lab tasks that provide experience andfamiliarization with methods, practices, and programs. Theseinclude:Preparation of samples using standard techniquesPerforming chemical analysis using standard techniquesCalculating dataRecording and reporting data and any unusual test occurrences tothe supervisorPerforming routine instrument maintenanceResponsible for performing job functions in compliance withEurofinsEHS and QA standardsResponsible for general housekeeping in his/her work areaAbility to become trained and competent on complex instrumentationincluding but not limited to gas chromatography, gaschromatography/mass spectrometry, atomic absorption, ICP, andinstrument specific data systems.Works under close supervision using routine and standard methodsAliquots and weighs samplesWashes glasswareConducts all activities in a safe and efficient mannerPerforms other duties as assignedThe ideal candidate would possess

　　Basic Minimum Qualifications

　　Bachelor\'s Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field, orequivalent experience1 year of College Chemistry preferred but not required1-2 years laboratory experience is preferred but willing to trainthe right candidatePrevious production-oriented work helpful (awareness and ability tomeet deadlines)Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely withoutrestriction or sponsorshipAdditional Information

　　Position is full-time. Schedule can be either Tuesday - Saturday dayshift or Sunday - Thursday day shift with overtime as needed. Otherfull-time sched les may also be available. Candidates currently livingwithin a commutable distance of University Park, IL are encouraged toapply.
