Responsible for setup and installation of technical systems, applications, or process designs for clients’ purchased or outsourced technology and business process solutions. Works directly with the client to manage initial access, map and transfer data, create process documentation, and train or coordinate training for client users.
Tests and troubleshoots functionality of installed systems; identifies and documents technical issues to be escalated to product and system integration teams for resolution.
Provides feedback based on client experiences to product and professional services teams for product and process improvements. May work directly with clients on-site or provide installation support remotely.
Working at NTT
MS Services Delivery Architects are responsible for ensuring that all the service aspects during a complex transition and transformation project are fully covered and the solution can be successfully delivered in alignment with the service delivery capabilities of NTT Managed Services and other involved parties.
The MS Services Delivery Architects are accountable and responsible for setting up the service model by being involved in early Sales Engagement, Service Design, and Service Transition processes.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Early Pre-Sales engagement:
Participate in complex deals during the pre-sales phase for service design consultancy
Review the commercial proposal and SoW to detect any flaw or misalignment with the NTT Managed Services delivery capabilities
Service design:
Responsible for the service takeover strategy definition, specifically to:
Identify current service issues with the incumbent service provider
Define the service aspects that need to be gathered during a due diligence
Determine the knowledge transfer strategy
Define the quality acceptance criteria for the service transition
Ensure customer expectations will be met and aligned with the NTT Managed Services delivery capabilities including Monitoring, Patching, and Backup solutions
Adapt standard process when needed in order to cover customer requirements, always be aligned with the NTT MS service delivery capabilities
Service Transition:
Understand Customer Vital Business Functions and how NTT MS assets will underpin them.
Make sure that customer business processes and end-to-end services are known and understood within the organization during the project lifecycle
Responsible for the service model documentation, which may include:
Identify current services issues with the incumbent service provider
Define the service aspects that need to be gathered during a due diligence
Determine the knowledge transfer strategy
Define the quality acceptance criteria for the service transition
Produce the Service Design Document, the key project deliverable in terms of service aspects and processes
Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:
Ability to work in line with best practices in complex environments and within tight time constraints
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to build excellent working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to demonstrate conceptual technology knowledge
Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
Bachelor’s or equivalent degree
ITIL certifications
Relevant industry / technical certifications
Required Experience:
Demonstrated years of experience gained in a similar position
Demonstrated experience gained within an IT environment and ITIL based Service Management
Demonstrated experience in Hosting and Managed Service Business
Demonstrated experience in Public Cloud and/or PCI compliance environments
Demonstrated experience in managing key accounts
