Description:

　　Primarily responsible for examining and testing samples for the food and beverage industry.

　　Report to shift lead to communicate number of samples that need to be processed for the day.

　　Collaborate and work with other laboratory technicians.

　　Responsible for completing tests for each day and helping other technicians process samples and maintain cleanliness of the laboratory.

　　Allocate self to tests that will be run consisting of:

　　Wet chemistry

　　Peroxide value

　　Free fatty acids

　　pH testing

　　Viscosity

　　Titrations

　　Gas Chromatography

　　NMR sample prep

　　Following basic recipe

　　Qualifications:

　　Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or Physics

　　Hands on lab experience from coursework, undergraduate research, or internships. Hands on training will also be provided.

　　Basic understanding of math skills used inside of the lab.
