Job Description:
The Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville is seeking a 1.0 FTE Clinical Research Coordinator II. This position will be responsible for all aspects of research coordination for various research studies and trails. He/she will implement clinical research and ensure compliance with clinical protocols, intuitional regulations and FDA requirements.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Plan, implement and monitor research participant’s recruitment and retention procedures.
Interpret and implement protocol procedures and policies
Screen and interview study participants
Maintain case report forms, charts and documentation
Review lab and procedure results
Dispense medication and maintain records
Perform imaging testing and procedures
Assures that Adverse Events are reported in timely fashion
Maintain Regulatory documents as mandated by FDA regulations
Expected Salary:
$48,000 to $52,000
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in the area of ophthalmology.
Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor degree, CCRP or CCRC certified.
