Essential Functions

Labels, processes and delivers specimens for testing.

Collects blood specimens using age-appropriate techniques.

Maintains equipment and medical supplies.

Assists with coordinating and conducting blood drives, including interviewing and screening donors.

Job Requirements

Minimum EducationHigh School Diploma or equivalent Preferred

Required SkillsAn approved nationally accredited training course in Phlebotomy PreferredCertification from ASCP or NHA PreferredRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
