One key to the success of our business is theloyalty of our major accounts. The primary role of the Key AccountManager is to help our best customers sell more of the products that wemake for them. In this capacity, the KAM needs to have excellentselling, communication, and business management skills to work theentire account, including leaders in purchasing, sales management,technical support, marketing, and operations. The key account manager isresponsible for driving enthusiasm for our program and facilitating thepull through sales process. Responsibilities Drive Safety as the NumberOne Priority of all OMG Employees. Drive sales growth strategies atassigned accounts, achieving profitability and market share goals.Develop specific strategies for each assigned account that increaseproduct awareness with a specific focus on new products andapplications. Develop and implement monthly account visit schedules andaction plans that deliver results supporting the RP Strategic Plan.Monitor weekly account sales and communicate opportunities andchallenges to RP management. Work with field sales teams to identify andmanage the opportunities and issues that impact assigned accounts. Workclosely with the Directors of Sales and Marketing to drive performancemetrics and build brand value. Maintain and demonstrate a solidunderstanding of the technical aspects of target applications and theRoofing Products (RP) product line. Communicate effectively with the RPOperations team regarding product demand forecast and the fulfillmentprocess. Exercise strong and consistent decision-making relative toaccount issues. Perform other tasks as assigned. Requirements Bachelorof Arts or Sciences Degree or equivalent. 5+ years Sales and AccountManagement experience. Strong analytical, decision-making andnegotiation skills. Ability to effectively understand and explain allproducts and services. Ability to act in a professional manner withemployees, customers and vendors. Strong people management skills andability to develop lasting business relationships. Strong presentationdevelopment and delivery skills. Ability to overcome obstacles andcomplete assignments in a timely, independent manner. Strong PC skillsincluding experience with MS Office Suite. Willingness to travel(minimum 50%) to meet assigned account demands. Ability to walk, stand,stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, use hands to finger, handle, or feelobjects, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance; and regularly liftand/or move up to 25 pounds.
