Job Description

　　Insight Global is seeking a Junior Accountant for one of our education technology clients located in Tempe, AZ. Our client's mission is to empower performance across the education life cycle through intelligent solutions.

　　We are in need of someone who will work closely with the Senior Accountant to help complete all of their daily tasks. This is a smaller accounting team, and you will report to the Senior Accountant. As a Jr. Accountant you will be responsible for payroll review and reconciliation, bookkeeping, accounts payable and accounts receivable. You will also assist in posting accounts to the general ledger for cash receipts and disbursements. When it comes time for our client's annual audit, you will help maintain records of all financial documents and updating records accordingly.

　　Additional responsibilities could include:

　　Reconcile bank statements and cash accounts.

　　Prepares and posts required journal entries.

　　Reviews & reconciles all balance sheet accounts.

　　Prepares summary of significant events and budget variances.

　　Prepares supporting documentation including but not limited to balance sheet schedules and other reconciliations for financial statements and annual budget process.

　　Skills and Requirements

　　1-3 years of experience in accounting

　　Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivables

　　Bookkeeping experience

　　Experience with QuickBooks - Experience in a school setting (ideally charter school, K-12) null
