Job Description

　　Insight Global is seeking a IT Generalist/Systems Engineer candidate to join a DoD program in Colorado Springs. The program itself is working on a Telescope Network and Space Operations center. Day to day, this candidate will be working on R&D and be the point person for technical advice, assistance and support for the government customer. The candidate will be working with web services, network systems and automated/robotic telescopes. This candidate will also be testing and troubleshooting telescope networks in a Linux environment as well as doing some debugging of code as needed in Python and Java, collaborating source code using a GIT repository and Jenkins as the continuous delivery environment, and assisting in web-based application development using Netbeans IDE, Java, and Javascript.

　　Skills and Requirements

　　3 years of professional experience in an IT role

　　Experience remoting into computers to set up users

　　Experience administrating in Windows and Linux environment

　　Bachelors degree (required to meet LCAT requirement) - Active Sec+ certification

　　Experience with debugging code in Java, JavaScript, or Python

　　Experience working with robotic telescopes null
