Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in Dallas, Texas for a Jr. Legal Secretary. The role involves assisting attorneys in miscellaneous projects, communicating with clients, and handling various administrative tasks. This role is in the legal industry, and you will be working in a bustling office environment.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently merge and mail out closing letters for various legal cases.

• Proficiently manage follow-up for important mail-out projects.

• Handle direct requests to providers for medical records and ensure consistent follow-up until all records are received.

• Communicate with clients to provide status updates or gather additional information necessary for their claims.

• Assist attorneys in various tasks as assigned, including mailing, profiling, scanning, and client communication.

• Mail out discovery documents to clients as required.

• Send out Statute of Limitations letters, preservation of evidence letters, and other miscellaneous correspondence, and ensure follow-up.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and other software for administrative tasks.

• Be responsible for tracking and managing client relations. Requirements

• At least one year of experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar role in a law firm

• Proven ability to manage client relations effectively.

• Demonstrated experience in providing administrative assistance.

• Strong administrative skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including creating spreadsheets and using advanced functions.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced legal environment.

• Must understand the sense of urgency in dealing with potential clients

• Position will turn hybrid (3 days in, 2 days work from home) after training.
