POSITION PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES: Under the direction of the Web Manager, the Jogger (Level 1) is responsible in a variety of basic hand and machine operations to arrange, pile, load, operate, maintain machinery and products, replace printing supplies, discard overused plates, all while consistently moving to and from. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:•Gather and jog product coming off the counter stacker; stack neatly on skids to ensure efficient production in bindery.•Complete skid load tags accurately.•Operate material handling equipment (pallet jacks).•Move finished loads to staging area for binding/finishing. •Change and empty waste bins as needed. •Assist in opening and shafting rolls. •Maintain a clean and orderly work area.•Clean and fill sponge buckets. •Replace press work bench supplies (solvent, plate cleaner). •Clean wash-up trays after use. •Clean ink fountains. •Neatly discard spent plates. •Perform a visual check at folds of jogged sigs.
