　　Your Role and Responsibilities

　　The Db2 Ecosystem team is seeking for a Java developers to join our Deployment team in our Kochi software lab. This is your opportunity to dive into the world of coding and automation. You'll be part of a DevOps team working on leading technology that is solving some of the world's most complex problems in Data and AI and supporting the whole Db2 development organization. You will be tasked to enhance, maintain, test, deploy and support Db2 Data and AI deployment code to deploy the same in a variety of architecture and operating systems. There will be opportunities to work closely with Architects, Data Experts, Database Engine Experts and high performance development team to diagnose and plan the delivery of new features. You will nurture innovation and celebrate out-of-the box thinking. You will facilitate collaboration as well as self-organization within the team. You'll be involved in writing and maintaining automated systems in support of key functions, such as pipelines for testing and deployment, installation of Db2 products, and providing services to our internal and external customers. You will manage entire life cycles of the product feature, from concept, through release, to production and its support.

　　Your responsibilities will include:

　　Work with Senior technical leaders to design and plan new features.

　　Enhance current existing features

　　Lead small feature/enhancement

　　Support Db2 current customers by investigating on the field issues and providing fixes.

　　Investigate and fix internally found software bugs (Test or code).

　　Mentor junior members technically and professionally

　　Work with the broader Db2 development team to ensure product stability. (Code reviews, Collaborative investigations, etc.)

　　Define and write quality check test cases to increase code coverage and ensure overall product quality.

　　Primary - Java, SQL / Must have - Core Java, SQL / Good to have - Gradle, Github, Jenkins, Kubernetes, DB2

　　Required Technical and Professional Expertise

　　5+ year of professional experience in Java Programming.

　　3+ year of professional experience in developing enterprise level software.

　　Good understanding of Database concepts.

　　Good understanding of Operating System Concepts (serialization, concurrency, multi-threading).

　　Good knowledge of Algorithms and Data Structures.

　　Experience using Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems.

　　Debugging and problem analysis skills.

　　Passion for technology.

　　Ability to learn quickly

　　Self-reliant and collaborative

　　Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Mathematics. Master's Degree is preferred.
