Job Summary:

Northstar is currently looking for a Janitorial Manager to join the team on a Year-Round basis, within this role you'll be working with the rest of the department to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of our Village locations, Base Area Operations and some on Mountain locations for the resort, this includes public spaces, offices and restrooms. While previous cleaning / housekeeping / janitorial experience is preferred, we're also equally excited to talk to candidates with leadership experience and a can do attitude.

Shift Schedule Availability: Full Time, Year Round

Job Responsibilities :

Responsibility for the safety, training and supervision of the team

Responsible for scheduling, organizing and delegating the workload of the team

Celebrates successes and recognizing team members for their contributions

Leading the charge in terms of recycling and environmental initiatives

Material and supply monitoring and ordering for all cleaning and restroom stock needs

Coordination and execution of annual deep cleans and carpet cleans

Supporting the team with front line activities such as garbage removal, deep cleaning and sanitation of restrooms where applicable

Management of 3rd party staff including scheduling and hour approvals

Job Qualifications :

Full driving license with a clean driving record

Bi-lingual: Advanced Spanish strongly preferred

Experience leading a team

Position Justification: Backfill for manager leaving area.

The expected pay range is $66,550-$72,000. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
