　　Summary:

　　With the help of our global expert team, you will be designing and overseeing the new SAP IES (Intelligent Enterprise Solutions) Data Foundation platform. The new platform will persistent data by using multiple SAP Hana Cloud databases. This new data repository will serve various data products such as Quotes, Sales Orders, Materials, Business Partner information etc. for distribution or utilizing by all SAP IES organizations. SAP Datasphere will take a central role within the SAP IES Data Foundation platform for consumption of data products.

　　What youll do-

　　In your role as Architect for SAP HANA Cloud and SAP Datasphere, you will take the lead on crucial aspects to help set up the new SAP IES Data Foundation platform. Your tasks include database design, performance tuning, ensuring high availability, implementing disaster recovery measures, backup and restore processes, automating platform integration with Collibra and Datasphere and many more.

　　Drive central architectural decisions along with our global Scrum team.

　　Take care of optimal infrastructure for the new multiple SAP Hana Cloud databases, for example regarding topics like network, database sizing, database modeling etc. to maximize the performance of the cloud database.

　　Drive innovations for a central Data Foundation platform and design the implementation of new requirements.

　　Implement new capabilities at the core of our product by extending existing micro services.

　　What you bring-

　　4 years of work experience, as a database administrator or database model for relational databases.

　　Expert knowledge in HANA database architecture, especially in the basis e.g. database installation, upgrades, planning and setup.

　　Strong knowledge scripting languages and automation tools.

　　Very good technical expertise in optimizing and tuning databases (Performance optimization).

　　Advanced experience in database modeling and programming as well as SQL scripting.

　　Advanced experience in HANA Cloud or HANA on Premise, Smart Data Access/Smart Data Integration.

　　Preferred-

　　Technical experience with firewall, network, or Cloud Connector

　　Experience with Collibra and/or SAP Datasphere

　　Experience in administrating SAP Business technology platform subaccounts

　　Experience in working and understanding of SAP T&I (Technology & Innovation)

　　University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering or Physics

　　Ability to analyze and debug highly complex problems

　　Excellent presentation skills

　　Well organized, willingness to own topics and share the knowledge with the team
