POSITION: IT Support Technician

As a member of the Information Technology Team, the IT Support Technician reports to the Director of IT Systems and Support. This role focuses on management and oversite of all IT related support and maintenance needs including providing hands-on support to ASM Global’s West Conshohocken corporate staff. Additionally, the IT Support Technician works with other team members to provide remote end user support for venue locations as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Management of corporate network operations center equipment. Inspections including approval and signoff that inspections and maintenance is successfully completed.
Management and implementation of IT equipment procurement, configuration, deployment, and acceptance approval.
Procurement and acceptance approval of IT related peripherals and supplies
Management and tracking of hardware warranties, and software licensing and equipment end-of-life refresh requirements.
Manage 3rd party support vendor relationships and tickets.
End User Support for Microsoft Windows and Apple computers.
Assistance with Microsoft Cloud and on-premises systems support and change management (Office 365, Azure/Entra Autopilot etc.).
Training of new employees on IT related equipment usage and policies
Ensure timely resolution of end user support requests and through ticket approval and closure.
Development, management and maintenance of IT knowledgebase and documentation.
Assistance with legal compliance system periodic reviews and testing.
IP phone and voicemail training, management and support.
Mobile phone support.
Monitor backups and report/escalate any issues.
User account moves, adds, changes, password resets, and related tasks.
Conference room audio visual support.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Microsoft Teams and Office 365
Azure/Entra experience
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work both independently and in a team environment.
Ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and management.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Education and Experience
Associate degree (or higher) in a technology-related field
Equivalent experience or certifications in lieu of degree
