About the Position: This is a Permanent position as a IT Specialist (Network/SysAdmin) located with the Army Installation Management Command, Directorate of Emergency Services, at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington. Responsibilities Installs hardware and software, maintains network operations, and ensures that inquiries and problems concerning networks, computers, peripherals, and services are expeditiously resolved. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes installing network infrastructure devices such as, switches, routers, or cables; reviewing or adhering to established organization information technology policies or procedures; and performing technical data networking tasks or troubleshooting of network related issues. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the GS-07 grade/level in the Federal service. The specialized experience must include, or be supplemented by, information technology related experience (paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training, as appropriate) which demonstrates each of the four competencies, as defined: (1) Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
