IT Service Desk Specialist - Weekend Night Shift

Job Description

The IT Service Desk Specialist is responsible for providing support to IT users via directing the user or utilizing remote control of the customer's desktop to resolve their IT questions or issues.

The hours for this position will be:

Saturday: 2am - 2pm CST

Sunday: 2am - 2pm CST

Monday: 9am - 5:30pm CST

Tuesday: 9am - 5:30pm CST

Responsibilities

Resolve incidents and more complex work orders for our IT Users remotely

Assist Incident Management and the EOC with notification and resolution during system/application outages

Resolve work orders following documented steps and training

Other duties as assigned

Education Experience

HS diploma or GED is required

1 year of service desk experience

Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship

Additional Qualifications

Advanced customer service skills

Strong written verbal communications skills

Knowledge of commonly used IT concepts, practices and procedures

Preferred Qualifications

IT Customer Service experience

Ticket Tracking system experience

Physical Demands

Ability to sit 6 or more hours per day

Ability to work in close proximity to other team members and in a secured location without natural light

Frequently required to reach with hands and arms

Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, and crouch

Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Potential pay for this position ranges from $21.15 - $31.73 based on experience and skills.
