This position offersflexibility for a hybrid work arrangement (remote/on-site) and focuseson leading transformational IT projects. Job Summary This role concentrates onproject management and delivery and acts as a project manager for IT.The primary focus is providing project leadership and management fortransformational IT projects of all sizes through all phases of theproject lifecycle. A solid understanding of project managementmethodology, business requirements, business and IT processes andsystems is needed. Strong organizational, communication, andinterpersonal skills are a must. Job Responsibilities Management andcoordination of projects through all phases of the project lifecycle;planning through closure Understands and demonstrates PMO definedstandards, methods, and approach for project delivery (ProjectManagement Methodology) Collaborates with others to identify scope,build estimates, set forth a project schedule with milestones, andestablish project teams. Leads the project team through executionmanaging timeline, budget, scope, risks and issues ensuring on time andon budget delivery Manages day-to-day project resource commitments,schedule, dependencies, and deadlines via a comprehensive work plan.Reports status regularly to project steering committee and PMOescalating issues and decisions as appropriate. Creates, reviews, andseeks approval for project Change Requests Collaboratively work withother Project Managers/ Delivery Leads on cross-project dependencies andmilestones. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in ComputerScience, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, ComputerInformation Systems, MIS, or related degree. Successful completion of acertified Application Development Apprenticeship will also beconsidered. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonalskills. Ability to convey concepts and ideas professionally using thepresentation style most appropriate to the subject matter andstakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Microsoft ProjectServer. Experience leading medium to large size IT projects through allphases of a project lifecycle.
