　　Job Summary:

　　Responsible for leading activities of the project team independently. Identifies appropriate resources needed, and develops schedules to ensure time completion of project. Coordinates the activities of the team by becoming familiar with system scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member. Leads project teams. Coaches the development of other Project Managers. Implements complex large/multiple projects.

　　(Note: This position is a hybrid position and will require occasional travel to VUMC facilities and offices so you must be able to travel to sites within the greater Nashville area. Candidates local to Nashville are strongly preferred.)

　　KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

　　This position is integral to VUMC's success at implementing new biomedical equipment, particularly equipment that have IT integrations.

　　This position will have three core responsibilities:

　　Own facilitating the review all biomedical equipment items pre-purchase, determining and validating IT equipment ownership and needs, and ensuring new equipment is submitted for IT review early in the procurement process.

　　Manage dedicated Enterprise Projects for new equipment installation.

　　Coordinates and oversees all phases of the project.

　　Ensure timely completion of tasks in line with project objectives.

　　Provide customers and leadership support through project management.

　　The responsibilities listed are a general overview of the position and additional duties may be assigned.

　　Develop and run a robust process for equipment intake built onVUMC's existing strategy for IT governance and reviews.Preferred Qualifications:

　　Three or more years managing equipment implementation projects, IT construction projects, or working closely with biomedical equipment in a healthcare setting.

　　Current ancillary IT application analysts encouraged to apply (including radiology, cardiology, neurodiagnostics, lab, and more).

　　Preferred certifications include PMP, BMET, or one or more application certifications.
