In thisrole you will be responsible for safeguarding Komatsu against unforeseendisruptions through development, implementation, and maintenance ofcomprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity strategies. Thisis a critical role in mitigating risk in the face of disasters,contributing to the overall resilience and stability of our business byapplying industry best practices to the creation of a robust plan,development of procedural documentation and execution of testingexercises. Additionally, the manager leads training and awarenessprograms to ensure that relevant stakeholders are prepared for disasterrecovery and business continuity procedures. Key Job ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning: Develops and implements comprehensive IT disasterrecovery and business continuity strategies aligned with organizationalobjectives; Collaborates with key stakeholders to assess risks, identifycritical processes, and establishes recovery time objectives (RTO) andrecovery point objectives (RPO). Plan Development and Documentation:Leads the creation and documentation of detailed disaster recovery andbusiness continuity plans for IT systems and critical businessprocesses; Ensures plans are regularly reviewed, updated, and alignedwith industry standards.
