During our 10-week internship program, students will have the chance to gain insight into a variety of different cross-functional roles spanning across our global business. Working alongside the best and brightest minds, you’ll contribute to current projects, solve business challenges, and align your work with our strategic initiatives!
Our North America (NAM) Internship Program offers:
Exposure to leadership
Cross-functional projects
Networking opportunities across the business real-world, hands-on work professional development sessions
As an intern under our Senior Manager of Import/Export Logistics & Compliance for North America you will gain exposure to the flow of products being moved in and our of various countries. You will participate in the monitoring and analysis of import/export data.
What You Will Do:
Assist BIC Team Members in North America with technical issues
Triage of tickets (examples include: Teams issues, process newcomer requests and laptops, connection issues)
Support large meetings and events in Shelton office
Research opportunities to create automation with Services Requests
Create and/or streamline standard operating procedures with other global End User Support team members
Assist in additional global infrastructure projects as required
What We Are Looking For In You:
Minimum education level preferred: Rising Junior
Preferred educational focus: Information Technology and Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office products experience (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Windows, & Outlook)
Eager to learn and grow
Customer service & detail oriented
Excellent communication and analytical skills, both written and verbal
Strong organizational skills
