Our client is seeking an IT Field Technician focused on asset management for South Florida/Naples territory. This person will provide onsite field technician hardware and software projects and support for all of their centralized locations including newly acquired healthcare practices. This position requires extensive daily travel.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (other duties as required):
Field Technician Duties:
Solve onsite/field tech issues and complete requests with workstations, laptops, portable devices (tablets, cell phones), applications, hardware, software, printers, phones, faxes, access points, projectors, TVs, and network related issues.
Perform support using an IT Ticketing system, IT standard support processes and personal IT key performance indicators (KPIs). These KPIs include but are not limited to: Customer Satisfaction, Resolution Time, Knowledge Base Article Proficiency, etc.
Perform troubleshooting support with various hardware and software providers/vendors.
Install and replace hardware and software for workstations in all locations.
Create and maintain client application and network documentation.
Assist new hires with system set up and provide basic training when needed.
Manages additions and deletions of users to CFS network; assigns and updates security permissions on the network as evidenced by the hiring of new employees.
Trains users on the proper use of hardware, software, and security practices.
Participate in IT Transition projects to move newly acquired practices to IT Standard Technologies. This may require overnight travel.
Special projects as assigned.

Technical Qualifications
Desktops/Laptops/Hardware: Dell, Lenovo or similar break-fix support
Software/Applications: Microsoft Applications, Healthcare EMR and Practice Management System experience a plus
Basic Networking: Aruba Gateways, Aruba Switches, Sonic Walls, Cisco ASA
Strong Customer Service Skills (verbal, physical and written); especially when working with End User issues.
Strong self-organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability and the expectation to learn how to resolve new hardware and software issues and requests quickly.
Demonstrated ability to read, write, and type with quality and speed and perform mathematical calculations.
Must be able to engage with all levels of technical understanding and deal with various stressful situations while maintaining a professional demeanor. Will work on everything from simple tasks to complex projects requiring high-level thinking and solutions.
Must be able to maintain high degree of confidentiality.
Ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment and manage time accordingly to meet deadlines and requirements of the organization.
Must be self-motivated and able to work in a team environment.
Have a coachable mentality.
Have a passion for technology with an eagerness to learn every day.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Demonstrated ability to do excessive walking, standing, bending and stooping. The employee may be required to lift moderately heavy objects (50-90 pounds). Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
CFS IT Support Coverage ranges Monday through Friday 8am – 5pm EST. IT May be required to work beyond their set schedule due to business needs and expectations.
TRAVEL:
Travel is required. Must have reliable transportation to travel to remote locations. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 3+ years of hands-on/onsite IT support and project experience in an enterprise environment troubleshooting and resolving desktop, hardware, software and application troubleshooting & support processes/tools
A bachelor’s degree in computer or information science from an accredited university or equivalent experience with software and hardware support
A valid Florida driver’s license
A history of safe driving as indicated by a driving record
