Onsite Required: Due to the essential nature of the work to be performed, this position REQUIRES the selected candidate to work ONSITE for the duration of the assignment.
Under general supervision, analyzes enterprise-wide customer business needs and participates in the planning, design and implementation of new or enhanced systems that may serve multiple state entities.
Complete Description:Qualifications:Bachelor''s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Two years in a related position.
ResponsibilitiesCreate and execute test plans and scripts, including test automation, that validate application business requirements and systems goals, meet requirements, and identify existing or potential issues.Collaborate with software/systems personnel in application testing, such as system, unit, regression, load, and acceptance testing methods.Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management.Test any new software to ensure integration into company systems meets functional requirements, system compliance, and technical specifications.Analyze formal test results in order to discover and report any defects, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws.Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of quality assurance best practices.DOR will conduct a background check on all candidates considered for the position. Individuals must be compliant with Georgia tax obligations.Individuals having any overdue and unpaid taxes, or any felony convictions (no matter how long ago) will not be offered the position or hired.All employees will be fingerprinted.
