　　About the role:

　　In Samsara’s Business Technology Core IT team, we work to deliver awesome systems, support, and experiences that enable our teams to be as impactful as possible.  As a member of the team, you’ll be responsible for owning the technology and processes that enable our people to do their best work. This role is eligible for remote work in the US except for candidates that are located in the San Francisco Bay Area (all counties within 125 mile radius of the SF) or NYC Metro (within 50 miles of Manhattan city center).

　　In this role, you will:  Be an owner for key applications or infrastructure: integrate best practices, develop roadmaps, ensure service availability, optimize performance, and maximize impact Act as a key Okta engineer to support our StateRAMP compliance efforts Implement, configure, and troubleshoot StateRAMP infrastructure to meet certification requirements Work closely with Security and other cross-functional teams to ensure audit compliance Design, build, deploy, integrate, and maintain the core technologies and services that power our business Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices Minimum requirements for the role:

　　5+ years of experience in an IT Infrastructure or IT Systems Engineering role 4+ years of experience with Okta, SSO/Identity Management, and Workflows Exposure to scale in a SaaS-first IT environment (Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Zoom, Github, Zendesk, etc) Okta Certified Professional and/or Okta Certified Administrator Involved in Compliance programs Solid fundamentals of IT infrastructure, security, and corporate systems Enthusiasm for helping others by learning and building things An ideal candidate also has:

　　Developed and managed applications in a team environment Expertise with SIEM Splunk service Expertise with Google Workspace and Google Cloud Platform Expertise in corporate networking and email infrastructure, CCNP+ knowledge Experience with Terraforming Okta Experience working with API’s in Javascript (Node.js) and Python Experience with AWS cloud services: Lambda, EC2, S3, etc Involved in StateRAMP and FedRAMP Compliance programs Samsara’s Compensation Philosophy: Samsara’s compensation program is designed to deliver Total Direct Compensation (based on role, level, and geography) that is at or above market. We do this through our base salary + bonus/variable + restricted stock unit awards (RSUs) for eligible roles.  For eligible roles, a new hire RSU award may be awarded at the time of hire, and additional RSU refresh grants may be awarded annually. 

　　We pay for performance, and top performers in eligible roles may receive above-market equity refresh awards which allow employees to achieve higher market positioning.

　　The range of annual base salary for full-time employees for this position is below. Please note that base pay offered may vary depending on factors including your city of residence, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

　　$78,778—$119,160 USD
