FirstEnergy offers paid internships to qualified students actively enrolled in an accredited university or college.Responsibilities of a SCADA Design SpecialistSupports FirstEnergy's Transmission & Distribution Energy Management Systems (EMS)Core responsibilities include Designing, developing, and supporting Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) field equipment that communicates with FirstEnergy's Transmission & Distribution Energy Management System (EMS).Additional job duties and responsibilities of a SCADA Design Specialist:Designing for the installation and modification of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) field equipment, with an emphasis on configuration of Remote Terminal Units (RTUs) to communicate to real-time systems that monitor and control field assets.
