JOB REQUIREMENTS: SCOPE OF ROLE Our Oracle EBS (R12) IT EDI Analyst roleis responsible for setting up EDI Trading partners in Oracle and willwork on understanding the requirements both from the External partnerside and Internal team and work with other cross functional teams tomake sure the requirements are addressed. The candidate should be awareof standard EDI setups on the Oracle side along with knowledge of howOrder management, Shipping and purchasing module setups that are neededfor EDI transactions to work. A Typical day for the EDI Analyst willlook like Look at High Priority issues with Key Customers. Monitoringthe EDI Fall outs and Interfaces. Working with the representatives onthe Customer/Supplier side to make sure the transactions are flowing ordiscuss and resolve any recurring issues. Understanding how the EDITranslator works and work with the counterparts on the translation team.Working as a single point of Contact for any EDI issues. Develop thetest plans and execute the same within the team. Key AccountabilitiesProvide business user support by helping troubleshoot businessapplication or business process issues Assist other business analystsand/or developers in determining innovative solutions to meet businessneeds Provide assistance in setting up application configurations andcontrols Help business users execute test scripts for system,integration and/or user acceptance testing Provide assistance to thebusiness users in defining and documenting requirements for systemimprovements Help in developing positive customer relationships whichmakes it possible to influence positive change and contribute tocollaboration in defining and implementing IT solutions Work with otheranalysts to provide operational consulting to business groups in the useof their systems to support effective business processes. ProfessionalExperience/Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree required 3+ year of EDIexperience required Oracle ERP experience on Order Management, Shippingand Purchasing modules. Knowledge of an EDI translator like EDI OneSource or Open text is desired but not necessary. Oracle technicalexperience with familiarity of EDI Customizations, knowledge of pl/sqlprogramming.
