Job Description:Title:IT Business AnalystJob Type:Full TimeReports to:Director, Business Solutions, Information TechnologyLocation:Preference is for Bothell, WA but open to other sites close to a Terex officeDepartment:Genie ITPosition Overview:The Business Analyst will serve as a liaison between the Genie Sales, Marketing, Commercial, and Parts & Services business functions and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs.The ideal candidate will analyze business partner's operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities to automate processes and functions; assist in the business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology; translate high level business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization and manage changes to such specifications; and advise the IT teams on the direction of the business.Responsibilities:Partner with the Genie Business and IT teams to elicit, analyze, translate, and document business and technical requirementsDevelop an understanding of how solutions will impact present and future business needsWork with end users to determine needs (data, screens, processes, reports) and develop scopeDraft detailed specifications that reflects the user's needsAnalyze, document and test program development, logic, process flows and specifications and make recommendations where improvements can be madeSupport the implementation of systems to create an experience that positions Terex as the first choice among peersPartner with business users to document test cases and conduct user acceptance testingDocument user manuals to describe application installation and operating proceduresCoordinate the project resources to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budgetExperience and Skills:Minimum three years' experience, preferably in a Business Analyst role.Solid background in business enablement through technologyPrevious experience with ERP (functions like order management, warehouse management, fulfilment andtransportation) and CRM applications from an implementation / support perspective is desirableAnalytical and project management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirementsDemonstrated ability to communicate with all levels within IT and business teamsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and cross-functional relationship building skillsOrganized and flexible to changing business prioritiesAction and results orientedExcellent presentation and listening skillsAbility to work well with people from many different cultures and disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience over geographically dispersed locationsWillingness to take ownership of issues and ensure all interested parties are kept informed of progress in order to deliver solutionsHighest level of integrity, honesty and trustTravel Requirements:Willing and able to travel as neededThe salary range for this position is $75,200 - 112,800.
