  Description

  IS HW Supply Chain & Asset Management , Principal Service Engineer - 100% Remote within the Providence footprint of states (WA, OR, CA, AK, MT, NM, TX).

  This position will support the Asset and Supply Chain Management team in collaboration with Procurement, End User Support, ServiceNow (SNOW) and Oracle teams to provide world-class IT equipment Asset & Inventory Mgmt. services to our caregivers. This role will focus on the management of the Assets in ServiceNow ITSM to include management of the Product Catalog, Stockroom Inventory, Knowledge Base articles, and other Asset or Inventory Mgmt activity. This role will execute & manage Supply Chain Inventory functions to include Cost Mgmt, Stock balancing, and Inventory Control while supporting On-Time Fulfillment of CG devices.

  There will be a heavy focus on identification, review, improvement, and automation of workflow to fulfill IS equipment as seamlessly as possible and in the most cost-effective way for Providence.

  Required qualifications:

  Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering Or equivalent educ/experience

  8 years Related experience; more preferred.

  Strong experience in automation, specifically related to deployment, recovery, or other manual processes.

  Strong experience with n-tier solutions.

  Strong experience with resilience modeling (failure mode analysis) and ability to simulate service outages for point solutions (automated) and platforms (manually).

  Strong experience influencing engineering team members in translating customer and technical requirements into service architecture to meet Quality of Service Expectations.

  Strong experience leading and representing the Service in backlog discussions and standups to establish appropriate prioritization of Live Site requirements.

  Strong experience leveraging data and metrics to drive behavior, process, and priority decisions. Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.

  Strong experience in advanced problem solving using systematic procedures and investigating problems utilizing root cause analysis.

  Preferred qualifications:

  More than 5 years of related experience as Supply Chain Engineer, Supply Chain Analyst, or Asset Management

  Experience in Continuous Improvement, including Root Cause Analysis methods

  Supply Chain experience in the information technology environment Experience with managing inventory data from multiple sources

  Experience managing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  Experience using Agile methodology or Azure Development Operations (ADO) a plus

  Familiar with ServiceNow and Oracle

  PMP certification a plus
