The Investments LDP rotates through and completes work including but not limited to the following business areas: * Equity & Fixed Income Research * Portfolio Management Teams * Equity & Fixed Income Trading * Data Science After exploring the breadth of the business unit(s) through each rotation, LDPs may have the opportunity to post to a permanent position within Columbia Threadneedle. Responsibilities Responsibilities vary depending on current rotation and assigned projects(s). Examples of past LDP projects include: Perform financial modeling of industry, company and security information and assumptions Provide market-related insight that helps Portfolio Managers identify relative value opportunities for the accounts Act as point of contact for Wall Street counter-parties - aggregating axes, collecting and disseminating market color Develop and monitor a wide range of reports and analyses of the portfolios including investment performance trends and comparisons to client guidelines, indices, sector weightings and attribution analysis Re-balance portfolios in response to cash flows, market price movements and changes in client guidelines Required Qualifications Current Senior at a 4-year university pursing a bachelor's degree Graduation date of December 2023 or May/June 2024 Commitment to complete the full 24-month Leadership Development Program Preferred Qualifications High degree of self-motivation with strong integrity and ethics Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills Ability to work and communicate collaboratively with all levels of the organization including team members, managers, and senior leaders Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite The company does not offer sponsorship for this opportunity.
