　　Duties Description As an Investigative Officer 1/Trainee (Chinese Language) with Labor Standards, the incumbent will perform office/field visit work required in the enforcement of State Labor Laws governing minimum wages, child, labor, hours of work, wage payment, farm labor and the like. Visit commercial and industrial establishments, the offices and institutions of non-profit organizations and other places of business and informs employers and employees of the requirements of the law and their responsibilities under the law. Chinese language required.Preferred Qualifications: Ability to initiate and maintain relationships across a diverse set of stakeholders.

　　Additional Comments MULTIPLE VACANCIESAs this position requires travel, the appointee must have a valid license to operate a motor vehicle in New York State and have a motor vehicle or otherwise demonstrate their capacity to meet the transportation needs of the position.
