LAC Federal is seeking an Inventory Technician to join our team. As a professional library

Inventory Technician will be responsible for maintaining an accurate inventory of the
library's resources, including books, periodicals, and digital media. This individual will
ensure that all items are properly cataloged, shelved, and available for circulation.
Responsibilities
Maintain the library's inventory system, including cataloging and shelving all materials
Assist with collection development by identifying gaps and recommending additions to the collection
Monitor and update the library's digital resources, including eBooks and eAudiobooks
Coordinate with other library staff to ensure materials are available for patron use
Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy of the collection
Conduct maintenance and repairs of physical materials as necessary
Assist patrons with locating and using library resources
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous inventory experience, preferably with Voyager ILS
Outstanding organizational skills
Attention to detail and good problem-solving ability
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to use Romanization tables to work with non-roman alphabets
Basic computer skills (MS Office Spreadsheets and Email)
Must be able to move from place to place within the location; file and retrieve delicate books, lift, push/pull, hold/carry items weighing up to 25 pounds; walk; bend; stoop; each; and climb
Ability to sit for long periods of time and to maintain focus on projects such as computer screens and detailed paperwork.
