Job Summary:
Experienced leader with a background in custody and clearing platforms to oversee, manage and coordinate strategic communication and content initiatives for independent registered investment advisors and introducing broker dealers for the custodian and clearing services platform. Strategic leader who fosters a positive client experience through proactive client engagement programs. Design, implement and maintain communication and content plans that foster active engagement, drive awareness, and enhance the client experience. Ability to create structure and efficiently scale while creatively implementing client engagement programs designed to stay ahead of trends and foster best practice sharing. Collaborate with various internal business lines and external partners to effectively manage client needs while appropriately considering and managing business risk. Dynamic people manager with ability to build, motivate and retain a positive and highly functioning team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead content and communication strategy development and execution that drives audience awareness, engagement and retention.
Serve as the organization’s content and communication subject matter expert providing strategic direction and recommendations that help shape our overarching strategy based on objectives outlined by the business.
Conceptualize, develop, and ensure progress against the annual content and communications roadmap.
Champion client engagement initiatives by developing and maintaining dynamic and engaging programs to deepen brand engagement and promote active participation in events.
Responsible for resource curation and distribution; Create resource libraries with case studies, whitepapers, and industry reports; Curate a regular newsletter and manage a resource portal with tools and guides; Organize webinars and learning events for clients.
Act as a resident expert on platform capabilities and support stakeholder questions related to products and services, specifically for change management communications and initiatives at the enterprise level; stay updated on enhancements to inform clients and improve the user experience.
Analyze the performance of engagement programs to identify the best opportunities for optimization, and regularly iterate to maximize performance; ensures ongoing content quality, accuracy, and engagement.
Contribute to the annual RCS marketing plan.
Identify external creation partners.
Maintain regular communication with all stakeholders regarding the progress, milestones, and enhancements of the communication strategy.
Serves as a member of the leadership team in developing short- and long-term goals and initiatives to achieve strategic vision.
Demonstrates an understanding of the broader business issues, risk considerations, and goals essential for selecting and planning new projects that improve the client experience.
Remains up to date with current industry, risk, regulatory and legal pronouncements that impact the business and clients.

Qualifications

Knowledge of:
In-depth concepts, practices and procedures of custody and clearing firm.
Fundamental services, operating processes, and practices of a custodian and clearing platform.
Products, process, and business structure of independent registered investment advisors and introducing broker dealers.
US financial regulations impacting custodian and clearing platforms.
Leadership, people management, driving change and business economic considerations.
Project planning, budgeting, and implementation.
Skill in:
Analysis and forward thinking with a demonstrated track record of successfully developing and implementing strategic plans.
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

Educational/Previous Experience Requirements:
College degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business-related field.
At least 5 years of direct experience in working with independent registered investment advisors and introducing broker dealers or equivalent experience.
