What will you do?
Follow procedures as outlined by Best Practices, SOP’s & work instructions. Take direction from Site Supervisor/Manager (and Senior Lead) regarding daily duties.
Promotes personal growth and development by staying abreast of new policies and improvements without the presence of site trainer and management team.
Listens to customer concerns, diffuses dissatisfaction, and quickly identifies course of action with a goal of first call resolution within established turnaround times
Positively represent Unity Lab Services at all times throughout customer locations.
Job-Specific Duties may include:
Perform inventory management and stockroom duties such as on-site Sr. Site Specialist. Replenishment ordering, disbursements, receiving, stock rotation, cycle counts, inventory systems management, and other functions according to service level requirements.
Perform order entry, order expediting, customer service call resolution, return goods authorization, and processing of backorders.
Create and maintain site work instructions and SOPs, cross-train in all services to provide coverage for colleagues.
Receive all shipping requests (outbound and inbound) – Phone, email, text.
Shipping all inventory returns to suppliers.
Collect products be shipped from end user or drop zone.
Properly package product in accordance with customer work instructions
Ensure all non-ambient products have sufficient ice or gel packs.
Label and package aligned with DOT or IATA requirements
Coordinate pickup with designated carrier
Management of all three hundred fifty +/- (350) chemical containers.
Management of all in scope buildings and inventory locations.
Container registration, container labeling, item detrashing and putaway; receipt into chemical inventory management system - EMS.
Routine product scanning in chemical inventory management system to reconcile book to physical inventory – Bench audit/cycle counts.
Daily inspection of all in-lab wasted chemical containers at established collection points for scanning out labels in chemical inventory management system – EMS.
Dispose of wasted containers in compliance with customer SOP(s) and regulatory requirements:
How will you get here?
High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution required
Ability to read, write and speak English
Display a high level of confidentiality
Must maintain Thermo Fisher Scientifics’ Four-I Values
Must have two or more years of proven relevant experience
IATA/DOT certified highly desirable
Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria:
Must possess a strong desire to serve the customer, and the social skills to deal with various levels of personnel.
Must deliver excellent customer service including maintaining a professional appearance.
Must possess the organizational skills to multi-task and meet timelines.
Must be proficient with a computer and the Microsoft Office suite of software with proficiency in Excel highly valued.
Working Conditions:
Works at customer location, in office environment to include cubicles, laboratories, and/or shipping/receiving docks
Extensive walking/standing for 60-70% of the day
Able to lift, push and pull 30-40 pounds consistently and lift 50 pounds
Able to use material handling equipment such as push carts and pallet jacks
Compensation/Benefits
The salary range estimated is $25.50/hr. - $26.50/hr. This position will also be eligible to receive a variable merit increase based on company, team, and/or individual performance results. Compensation will be confirmed in writing at the time of offer.

Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $19.64–$29.46.
