Overview:

　　Job Title: Inventory Specialist

　　Job Location: Fort Belvoir, VA

　　Security Clearance: Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance

　　Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship required.

　　Job Responsibilities:

　　Trace Systems is actively recruiting for a cleared Inventory Specialist to support our customer, the Defense Logistics Agency, at Ft. Belvoir, VA.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Manage analysis and performance monitoring of the effectiveness and execution of asset control procedures.

　　Ensure accountability and proper tracking mechanisms are used to conform to expected organizational standards and goals.

　　Identify and implement solutions to problematic areas of the asset control process.

　　Verify the accuracy of the data recorded/updated in the IT Asset Management System (ITAMS).

　　Ensure accuracy of ITAMS data, making sure anomalies are identified and addressed immediately.

　　Reconcile all balances regularly and submit accurate, auditable financial year-end inventory reports.

　　Perform physical inventories.

　　Draft correspondence as required.

　　Minimum Qualifications:

　　A minimum of five (5) year relevant experience.

　　Three (3) years experience entering asset data to and extracting reports from automated inventory tracking systems.

　　Two (2) years experience in performing physical inventories.

　　An active Secret clearance is required.

　　Education:

　　A minimum High School Diploma or GED is required. Trace Systems
