Primary Function
The purpose of this position is to oversee finished product outputs as well as manage the flow activities of the shipping area. It also ensures that the system has reliable information regarding shipments and transactions.
Responsibilities
Manage inventory and reliability, turnover (FIFO), investigation and resolution of inventory discrepancies.
Prepare weekly and monthly reports of shipment activities and FG in process.
Detection and correction of occupational hazards.
Comply with departmental budgets.
Promote a healthy and safe work environment focused on the fulfillment of departmental and plant goals.
Ensure compliance with the company's policies and procedures as well as internal work regulations.
Verify that the personnel in charge have the necessary safety equipment and tools to meet the objectives.
Help the staff in charge maintain order and cleanliness in the assigned area.
Participate in the analysis and solution of quality and process problems, as well as in continuous improvement projects.
Promote creativity in search of new ideas.
Control and update the ISO, C-TPAT, etc.
Qualifications
English: ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
Experience in a Production / Manufacturing environment
Experience in inventory control, receiving, shipping.
Strong verbal, written and analytical skills.
Excellent computer skills (SAP system).

Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or Engineering
Years of Experience
Minimum of 3 years of related work experience or training
2-3 Years of Supervisory/Leadership Experience
