Title: Interviewer - PRAMS$20.00 - $24.00 / Posted Thru: 1-28-24Part-time - 25 Hours/Week - Afternoons, Nights, Weekends
Location: Remote/Virtual - Must Live in Michigan
Purpose: This position will conduct interviews, survey data entry and operations assistance for the PRAMS (Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System) and the Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System for Dads (P4D) This is a fully remote position that will require mostly night and weekend hours (for phone interviews) and afternoon participation in weekly operations meetings.
Duties and Responsibilities:Conduct follow up telephone interviews with PRAMS and P4D sample members and record respondents' answers to scripted questions in an online survey software.Schedule telephone interview appointments, keep accurate records of telephone contacts.Communicate with supervisor on duty and/or other P4D interviewers to troubleshoot phone cases in a timely manner.Work as a team to meet phone call productivity and interview completion goals.Collaborate with other PRAMS and P4D Interviewers, PRAMS Coordinator and PRAMS Specialist to improve telephone interviewing operations and interviewer skills via interview monitoring sessions and quality improvement projects and experiments.Assist with data entry using the PRAMS Integrated Data Collection System or AccessAssist the PRAMS Specialist and PRAMS Coordinator with other remotely conducted project activities as needed.Participate in PRAMS human subjects training and all other trainings required by MDHHS and the PRAMS and P4D programs.Adhere to the PRAMS and P4D research protocol including ensuring interviews are conducted in a private and professional manner in the remote office setting.Maintain a positive, strong, credible, professional and interpersonal relationship with all parties relevant of MPHI projects and represent the best interest of MPHI at all times.All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Education: Possession of an associate degree in public health, or a related health or social science field is preferred, but will consider others with survey, call center, or social science research experience and/or knowledge of maternal and child health fields.
Experience: No specific type or amount is required.
Important Skills and Characteristics:Experience with data entry is preferred.Experience with Microsoft Office is useful.Knowledge of survey techniques would be very helpful.Good telephone and customer service skills.Ability to build rapport and gain cooperation from telephone survey respondents.Ability to stay on task while maintaining thoughtful attentiveness to detail is critical as is possessing a desire to work collaboratively and communicate openly with a small team to improve operations, complete tasks, and meet goals in a timely manner.The ability to type at least 40 words per minute is preferred.
