The Intern program gives a unique introduction to GKN Driveline in North Carolina and allows you to participate in the fast-paced world of automotive manufacturing. This program will involve you in the problem-solving opportunities of the operation as well as the continuous improvement mindset of the company. Participation will allow you to learn day to day engineering operations and gain knowledge through special projects.

　　GKN is looking for the next generation of future leaders in Engineering and will be responsible for performing tasks requiring the engineering applications and procedures in an automotive manufacturing environment. This includes assisting engineering and operations staff with various project duties. Specific assignments and project work will vary. Responsibilities will include collaborating with almost all functional areas and business processes. This internship will provide support for the business and production floor while encouraging learning participation through hands on experiences under guidance or with input from others.

　　QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE SKILLS

　　The position requires an active college status, pursuit of a degree in a relevant discipline with intent to continue education toward a Bachelor's degree or higher degree. You must have proven problem-solving ability and will need to be able to speak and write English fluently.

　　Experience with personal computer hardware and software applications is also required. Additionally, experience as an Intern or Co-Op in your respective field is favorable.

　　The position will require you to gain thorough knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain.
