Job title: Internship: Sustainability Transformation (non thesis)

Duration : 6 months (with possibility to extend)

Contract : 32/40h per week
As a Sustainability transformation intern, you will drive the employee engagement and activation for our ambitious sustainability targets.
Your role:
Support the our ESG Transformation Team in moderating the Sustainability Community of Practice (CoP) and Center of Excellence (CoE) by actively connecting people with experts, people with people, sharing the right information, and engaging in the discussion.
Support the organization and execution of activities such as live webinars, interactive events from finding presenters, preparing practice sessions, promoting the events through posts, to ensuring everything runs smoothly during the sessions.
Become the expert of tools that can help Philips employees learn about sustainability, find useful resources, and connect with each other for challenges and best practices. You will also work directly with sustainability experts and advise them to leverage on the power of the Sustainability Community of Practice to facilitate transformation.
Collecting and creating content for the Sustainability CoEs and CoPs, and sharing this content throughout the organization using our two main internal communication platforms.
You're the right fit if:
Degree in a relevant field like Change management, Business Administration, Environment, Communications, Policy, Sustainability- especially Circular Economy and EcoDesign , Innovation and Strategy, etc.
Passionate and knowledgeable about sustainability- especially Circular Economy and EcoDesign .
Able to connect complex challenges to the right sources and experts.
Experienced with community management, media platforms like SharePoint and Yammer/Viva, video editing and PowerPoint.
Able to translate complex technical information into engaging and interesting internal and external communications and be able to interact with diverse stakeholder groups
Self-starter, ability to drive actions independently while keeping close alignment with the wider team
Project management skills: successfully manage multiple projects/ tasks through to completion
Strong interpersonal skills; natural connector and collaborator within the organization and across various stakeholder groups
Excellent English verbal and written skills
A keen eye and a curious mind, you see synergies and opportunities everywhere
In return, we offer you
Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on educational level and if you would need to relocate to The Netherlands. If you will perform a part-time internship you will receive the allowance pro-rata.
Housing compensation, in case of relocating to the vicinity of the office, €300,- net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255,- net for all other Philips locations. You need to provide a rental contract of the land lord, and your normal home-work travel distance need to be more than 50 km or travel time (one way trip) need to be more than 1.5 hours.
Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. €145,- net
Paid holidays per internship term.

IMPORTANT:
Part of our selection procedure is a HireVue online interview recording. We are not able to share the outcome of this HireVue interview but will use this as extra selection criteria.
In order to be considered, you have to be registered as a student during the entire internship period. Formal documentation will be requested. Students from outside the EU enrolled at a Dutch university need to fill in a NUFFIC agreement – which needs to be signed by the student and the university.
