Your role:

The Philips Foundation is committed to improving access to quality healthcare for underserved communities through innovation and impact investments. By combining philanthropy with a strategic focus on sustainable development, we support social entrepreneurs, impact-driven enterprises, and innovative healthcare solutions globally.

This internship offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of social impact investing, gaining hands-on experience in evaluating, supporting, and scaling innovative healthcare solutions that make a difference in underserved communities.

Investment Thesis Development: Collaborate on the development of an investment thesis for a community of practice consisting of impact investors and corporate foundations, focusing on shared goals and scalable healthcare solutions, with clear guidance and direction.

Stakeholder Engagement: Provide support in coordinating with social entrepreneurs, investment partners, and internal teams to assist ongoing projects and explore new opportunities

You're the right fit if:

You are studying towards your master's in Business, Economics, Finance or related study.

Strong interest in impact investing, social entrepreneurship, and healthcare innovation and willing to learn more.

You are a team player, and you have strong interpersonal skills.

You have analytical skills and are able to evaluate financial and operational data, perform basic due diligence, conduct market analysis, and understand key performance indicators.

You are research-oriented: Proficient in desk research and synthesizing insights to support decision-making processes.

You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint, with familiarity in visualization tools like Tableau or similar platforms being a plus.

Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are an advantage.
