　　The Holland America Summer Internship Program is a 10-week paid (remote) summer internship opportunity designed to provide exposure and insight to professional careers in the amazing leisure travel, cruise industry. The selected interns will work on departmental projects as well as participate in professional development and enrichment activities.

　　2024 Program Dates (two options)

　　Program runs 10 weeks from June 10th - August 16th or June 17th - August 23rd.Eligibility

　　Eligible candidates are enrolled in a four-year accredited undergraduate program (where they are at least a rising junior) and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

　　MUST NOT be a graduating senior in the summer 2024.

　　Compensation

　　Undergraduate - $25.00/hrIntern Project Details

　　Serve as a key point of contact for integrated communications planning (Marketing/PR/Social/etc.) related to execution of partnership agreements. Review contractual obligations and ensure they are met, identify new areas of cross-marketing opportunities and facilitate implementation with appropriate teams. Work with partners on joint promotional assets, event activation, marketing coordination, measurement and planning. Ensure and maintain brand consistency.

　　2Business development and research of new partnership opportunities that reach our target audience. Evaluate new partnerships and other third party opportunities. Leverage third parties to drive commercial value and revenue for Holland America Line, both within their customer base as well as ours.

　　Identify, assess and implement innovative new brand opportunities via sponsored content, product placement and creation of new storytelling opportunities. Liaison with marketing and PR teams for implementation as appropriate

　　Requirements

　　Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills

　　Strong business acumen and analytical skills, particularly in a complex, fast-paced commercial environment

　　Proficiency using MS office Suite including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook & MS Teams

　　Self-starter, able to work independently, remotely and self-manage

　　Well organized and able to communicate effectively with colleagues and managers

　　Position will be primarily remote but there will be occasions to come into the office, work at events and travel to certain events for activation

　　The types of duties the students will perform will vary and may require some technical tasks, projects and/or work that may require specific proficiencies, technical abilities and/or computer skills
