About International Markets Manager, Italy Market Development

  We’re looking for an Italy Market Development Manager to join Team Snap! As a member of the International Markets team, you will be a part of a newly formed, highly visible and strategic team working on growing Snapchat’s community of users in Italy. Working from our upcoming Milan (Italy) office and reporting to the Southern Europe Market Development Manager,  you will take advantage of the Snap brand, features, content and offers to drive Snapchat community growth and engagement through in-markets activations & partnerships. The right person for this role has a proactive disposition, excellent relationship management skills and an in-depth understanding of growing communities.   What you’ll do:

  Provide thorough research and analysis on market trends & user behaviors, to help gather local feedback on our go to market & product perception to build partnerships and investment decisions aligned with Snap’s mission & value,

  Create and manage our in-markets activations in collaboration with our HQ teams,

  Connect cross-functional teams to identify, pitch, and prioritize the highest impact opportunities to remove barriers for product adoption, retention, engagement, and/or monetization,

  Run user interviews to gather market insights and share the local pulse with the rest of the organization,

  Closely monitor and measure results,

  Develop and thoroughly present go-forward recommendations,

  Connect & engage with local communities to evangelize our products and grow the local audience.

  Minimum qualifications:

  BA or BS degree

  5 years+ experience leading marketing development (in Italy), growth and/or marketing analytics in a B2C environment (fast growing environment like a startup is strongly preferred)

  Fluency in Italian and English 

  Preferred qualifications:

  Strong analytical, project management expertise and growth analytics 

  Understands the latest marketing ops methodologies, in data analysis, reporting, technology selection and implementation

  Distinctive problem solving and analysis skills, able to lead advanced quantitative analysis, derive actionable insights and drive projects from strategy to execution

  Strong leadership, influence and execution at all cross-functional levels of an organization


  Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  Superior Excel and Powerpoint skills

  Experience producing high-quality presentations and written documents

  Extraordinary analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated intellectual & analytical rigor, with high attention to detail

  Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

  Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of a company

  Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently

  Experience in data science and analytics is strongly preferred, particularly knowledge of Looker, SQL, and Tableau

  Superior analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on attention to detail while delivering against tight deadlines

  Experience living or working internationally for 6 months or more

  Strong interest in technology, social media, and international affairs

  MBA
