Primary Purpose
The Internal Quality Auditor will ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety standards. This role performs independent and objective audits to ensure that company services meet and exceed regulatory, statutory, customer and organizational standards through continuous feedback and monitoring of activities. The role reports directly to the Internal Quality Manager and assists and works in conjunction with other IQ auditors.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
Assist with risk assessment for child care centers.
Assist in the development of audit plans and schedules, and facilitate pre-audit planning and visits/meetings to align with scope, methodology, and logistics.
Execute risk-based quality assurance audits within assigned regions.
Document visit and assessment results, evaluate audit findings, and recommend corrective actions in an accurate and timely manner.
Assign appropriate work-out periods with a follow up cadence. Coordinate with compliance as required.
Facilitate follow up actions to address areas of non-compliance, including safety director involvement and/or peer consultations.
Summarize audit results, and communicate to center management.
Assist with evaluation and design of audit programs based on sample-based audit results.

Job Requirements – Education/Experience
Education
Bachelor's Degree required - Quality assurance job-related discipline or equivalent experience desirable.
Experience
At least 3-5 years audit-related experience in quality assurance and/or health & safety required
Additional Job Requirements
High level of data/trend analysis skills and interpretive capabilities to identify issues and recommend corrective actions and continuous improvement programs.
Must be a team player and able to work independently.
Excellent verbal and written communication, project, and organizational skills are required.
Proficient in completing and managing the audit life cycle.
Demonstrated professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality a must.
Proficient with computer operations and business systems including Microsoft Office and audit management systems.
Strong familiarity and understanding of OSHA regulatory requirements in General Industry (1910) and/or Certified Internal Auditor certification(CIA) is desirable.
Position requires travel up to 70% of the time within assigned area (West/ East and Mid)
