　　Job Description

　　AECOM is seeking a talented Water Resources Engineer to be based out of our Denver, Colorado office to focus on water resources projects including floodplain modeling and mapping studies, municipal water resources projects, stream restoration design, and water rights investigations.

　　Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

　　Hydrologic and Hydraulic (H&H) modeling using various software programs

　　Preparing and reviewing working drawings, plans, cost estimates, studies, reports, and other work products

　　Must be capable of performing independent tasks, reviewing technical work of others

　　Mentoring and training junior level staff

　　Writing technical reports and memoranda

　　Strong written and verbal communication skills

　　Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment

　　Qualifications

　　Minimum Requirements:

　　Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or educationPreferred Qualifications:

　　Eight (8) or more years of relevant water resource related experience

　　Professional Engineering (PE) license in Colorado or the ability to obtain one within first 6 months of employment

　　Experience and familiarity with the following programs: HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS 1D/2D, SRH-2D, xpSWMM, HydroCAD, ArcGIS, CADD

　　Strong analytical and computation skills

　　Knowledge of civil engineering design principles

　　Additional Information

　　Exempt Position: Offered rate of compensation in Colorado will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $70,000 - 85,000.
